Peru has positioned itself among the top blueberry suppliers worldwide. One of the most outstanding characteristics of the Peruvian blueberry is its production seasonality: their production rate is constant, while other countries have finished their harvest. This opens the door to new commercial opportunities around the world.
SENASA certified 93,892 tons of blueberries during the 2020/2021 campaign.
The United States remains the main destination with a 57% share, followed by the Netherlands with 23% and China with 11%.
